SNMP based DVB-H Monitoring
SAM-MT 200 is an SNMP enabled DVB-H and DVB-T monitoring probe. This rack mountable 19" device (1 HU) is suited for both monitoring DVB-H and DVB-T on-site (directly at the head-end, monitoring via ASI interface) and for monitoring DVB-H and DVB-T off-site (remotely in the field, monitoring via RF). Up to three DVB channels and all DVB-T/DVB-H programs therein can be monitored simultaneously on all layers.
SAM-MT 200 is the most efficient and most comprehensive one-rack unit monitoring probe available for DVB-T and DVB-H monitoring.

Monitoring Capabilities
The SAM-MT 200 is suited optimal for both DVB-H monitoring and DVB-T monitoring on-site via its ASI interfaces as well as for off-site monitoring via its RF tuners. Two RF channels or three ASI channels can be monitored simultaneously.

The monitoring solution allows monitoring of the entire transport stream in realtime at all terrestrial bandwidths.
Some examples of the performed measurements in the different layers are:

RF layer: Signal Strength, SNR, MER, BER after Viterbi and PER, Cell_ID, TPS information...
Transport/MPEG-2 layer: all parameters of ETSI TR 101 290, separated by Prio 1/2/3...
MPE layer: IP-PER, Time Slice Jitter, MFER, MPE-FEC of all DVB-H services inside the TS...
IP/RTP layer: RTP sequence counter, IP data rates, IP/port missing...
ESG layer: bootstrap + all container contents of all ESGs inside the TS simultaneously, independent on whether they are encoded according IPDC or OMA BCAST standard. Update Cycles Times...
General: All monitored parameters get logged in all details. TS snapshots get created automatically if parameters exceed configured error thresholds for later detail problem analysis.

All parameters get monitored simultaneously in realtime!
