Past week decontis released its new dvbSAM version 4.1 and its updated SAM-MT 400,
the leading solution for SNMP based and visual monitoring of DVB-H, DVB-T and DVB-S networks.
1. DVB-H ISMAcryp Descrambling
|
dvbSAM now contains the new decontis ISMAcryp engine, capable to descramble all ISMAcryp scrambled DVB-H
video and audio programs within a channel simultaneously - for OMA BCAST DRM profile and OMA BCAST SCP.
For each program the corresponding long term keys can be configured, dvbSAM calculates the TEKs for
descrambling the programs out of the STKMs seamless by itself.
The ISMAcryp engine can be licensed also independently of dvbSAM.

2. Advanced DVB-T/DVB-S Teletext Analysis and Monitoring
|
SAMcorder now contains comprehensive analysis and monitoring features for Teletext.
It conveniently receives all teletext pages and sub-pages, renders them, provides
a realtime grid with received/updated pages and highlights the different teletext page types.
Furthernmore the transmission of the Teletext pages can be monitored via SNMP according various
parameters, such as transmission and update interval of monitored Teletext pages.

3. SAMitor Monitor Wall
|
SAMitor provides many new features. Beside support of video/audio playback it now visualizes the audio
levels with audio bars. Furthermore it provides now transcoding and streaming features, so that e.g. a
DVB-T or DVB-S program can lively be re-encoded into a low-bandwidth video/audio stream for streaming
a remote broadcast into the monitoring center for visual monitoring. Even single snapshot images can be
sent as ultra-low-bandwidth stream.
SAMitor now automatically detects video freeze, audio freeze, audio silence and A/V
signal loss and provides this information within the SAM-MT 400 monitoring solution via SNMP to the
operator.

|
4. SAMcover Coverage Measurement / Drive Test
|
SAMcover now supports threshold profiles, which can be used to assign the OK, WARNING and ERROR status
for each measurement item within the map display individually for the particular purpose. That way the
recorded coverage measurement data can be evaluated and visualized more flexible than before.
